We love Pony Finals!!

Who doesn’t love Pony Finals? It is every kids dream to attend pony finals and win. But win or loose, everyone always has a fun time.  Team Belle had a blast this year! We partook in showing our ponies, the golf cart parade, a pizza party and our photo shoot for our new catalog. It was great to have almost the whole team together!

The girls all had a great show! We started out our week with set up day at our vendor booth. Setting up is hard work! The girls all came by and got their welcome bags with goodies from The Plaid Horse Magazine, Model Horse Jumps, Pony Bling, Mane Jane, Fortune’s Fool (the book), Snaks 5^th avenchew, Welsh Wear and of course lots of Belle and Bow gear. Big Thank you to all our vendor contributors. What a treat to have such a great collaboration of small businesses.

Tuesday was social media day. We posted on on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter using #teambelle and #ponyfinals2015. We are so excited to have so many new followers!

We also launched Belle's Basement this year and it was a huge success! We invited everyone to bring their gently used show quality items to us for consignment. A lot of people got some great deals on show clothes!

Wednesday we had our pizza party and photo shoot. Our pizza arrived by golf cart to the VIP tent and we shared with all our friends while we got ready for our photo shoot that followed.

The photos were so exciting! We could see a big black sky lurking towards us and the winds were rolling in. We all thought were going to get soaked! The impending weather ending up making the photos all the more fun as we ran from location to location trying to beat the rain.

The Belles all had a blast getting to know each other and thinking up creative ideas for the photos. We threw bows in the air, included Mia’s new puppies and did cart wheels in the fields. Somehow we managed to beat the rain and all had a fun getting some great photos by our super photographer Bethany Unwin! Thanks Bethany!

Golf Cart Parade

Thursday was the golf cart parade. We were so busy showing and selling bows that we didn’t have time to prepare for the parade. As we were getting ready the rains started to come in and our golf cart was missing!! We borrowed a golf cart and pulled out a banner got dressed up in our matching outfits. Somehow we and pulled together an impromptu processional.  The rains started beating down on us in our plastic covered golf cart filled with screaming kids piled into the back seat.  It was a blast! Once we got inside the girls chanted and did gymnastics as we paraded around the Alltec indoor arena. The other carts were ornately decorated in fun themes like the ghostbusters, hillbillies and Super Mario Brothers. They looked great. Even though our cart wasn’t decorated we still had a blast and thought of fun ideas for next years parade.

The rest of the show was clear blue skies and lots of smiles. Everyone had a great show. Libbie Gordon was 4^th overall in the small green ponies with her pony Glenhaven Astoria, 5^th over all in the regular smalls with her pony Baby Blue and 5^th overall in the regular mediums with Tiffany Blue. Be sure to check out our bows that are named after Tiffany and Baby! Isabella White had a great first time showing at Pony Finals and came home with a Purple ribbon (7^th place) from the small pony model. She did a great job and we are so proud of her! Mia, Nicole and Maggie also did a great job and had lots of fun with their ponies. We made new friends and can’t wait for #ponyfinals2016! Libbie Gordon had a great Winter Circuit In Ocala

This year I got to spend the winter down in Ocala! I got the chance to ride some really nice ponies, like Gametime, Her Highness, Saddle Sold Separately, Wooland’s Polar Bear, Costal Sunset, and Magic Word. I also got the chance to model and hack Devil Mint, Peterpotamus, and R Cinderella Man. I was really nervous about riding other peoples ponies but was a lot fun in the end. My ponies, Baby Blue, Tiffany Blue and Bieber, were also a lot of fun to! I had to work on a lot of things like shortening and lengthening but it all work out in the end because in ended up circuit champion in the smalls on Baby Blue and Reserve Circuit Champion on Tiffany Blue in the mediums. I was really excited because there were a lot of great competition.

This season at HITS i got to bring back one of my first small ponies, Telyanu Ballerina, back from injury. It was a long two years, but I finally got to shoer in the children's ponies at the end of circuit.  
In Ocala, I got the chance to spend time with my friends on and off of the show ground. I also got to meet a lot of new as well. It was a little frustrating going to the tutor Monday thru Thursday but it all worked out in the end because l was all caught up with school at the end of the circuit.

The best part about the circuit was probably riding my first green pony, Glenhaven’s Astoria. This was the most fun part about Ocala because not only were the owners so supportive, but I qualified her for Pony Finals! Thank You to everybody for making this Hits so special. I can’t wait for Devon!

Catching Up with the Belles of Forget Me Not Farm…

Mia Green, Nicole White, and Bella White, of Forget Me Not Farm in Wellington FL, had a fantastic showing at the final weekend of the Venice Fox Lea Farm Summer Circuit 2014. Finishing up the third weekend of competition, all three Belles excelled in their respective events. Mia Green and Deja Blue were Circuit Champions in the Short Stirrup Hunter Division. Mia also rode Miss Australia to become Reserve Circuit Champions in the Short Stirrup Hunter Division. When asked about her favorite part of the horse show, Mia said, “I loved riding all the ponies in the show, it was really fun.”

Nicole White also had an excellent day, as she and her pony Deja Blue were Reserve Champions in the Crossrails Division. Nicole said, “My favorite part of the weekend was jumping with Deja Blue and winning the prizes.” Mia and Nicole chose to wear their matching pink and blue Lucy Locket bows.

Bella White and pony Deja Blue were Champions in the Walk / Trot Division. Bella was named the most advanced in her level of competition. Bella was seen sporting her Forget Me Not Farm show bows.

Forget Me Not Farm ponies also won numerous accolades at the Venice Fox Lea Farm Summer Circuit. GF Forget Me Not was the Circuit Champion in the Small Pony Hunter Division, Miss Australia was the Reserve Circuit Champion in the Small Pony Hunter Division, True Colors was the Circuit Champion in the Green Pony Hunter Division, and Pony Macaroni was the Reserve Champion in the Green Pony Hunter Division.  For their ponies being honored as circuit champions, the girls won leather bracelets engraved with the title their pony received and were eager to show off. All together the weekend was both fun and successful for the Belles of Forget Me Not Farm and they are excited for their upcoming shows in Lexington, KY including Pony Finals!

Summer Fun!

Hi everyone! My pony, Foxlair Fantasia, "Fancy" and I have been taking it kind of easy since Devon. We train at home and have been trail riding a lot too. We have fields with hills that we can ride in. It's beautiful and great for the ponies to be out of the ring. Here Fancy and I are practicing for the "Rainbow Pony Model Class!" I love how her tail turned out!

The Belle Program

What is the Belle program?

We created the Belle program to motivate and empower young equestrians by introducing them to some basic promotional principals and having them participate in philanthropic and confidence growing events. We hope that this dynamic program will enrich the girls’ lives and give them a chance to grow with us.

 Who are the Belles?

The Belles are young equestrians forming their futures in a positive and productive way. They represent themselves with class and dignity and are leaders in both the barn and the classroom. They are always learning proper horsemanship and enjoy helping others. The girls not only conduct themselves with exemplary sportsmanship at horse shows, but also maintain good grades in school. We encourage all of our Belles to maintain grades no lower than a B. It is our hope that the Belle program will help these girls become leaders, who work hard and carry themselves with confidence and kindness while having FUN!

MEET THE BELLES!

Nicole White

Welcome 8 year old Nicole White and her pony Deja Blue to the Belle Program! You can see Nicole competing in the Cross Rails divisions at shows like ESP Fall Circuit, Winter Equestrian Festival, ESP Spring Circuit, Fox Lea Farm, and Kentucky Summer. She is from Boca Raton, Florida and she rides with Forget Me Not Farm In Wellington with trainer Stefanie Mazer. Nicole strives to be a straight A student. She wants to be horse trainer and vet when she grows up. He favorite subjects in school are science and art and her favorite color is gold.

Isabella White

6 year old Isabella White joins our program along with her sister Nicole. Isabella competes in the walk trot division and is hoping to move into the jump class soon. Her Pony True Colors was circuit champion in the Winter Equestrian Festival in 2014. Bella says True Colors is a “really, really, really good jumper.” Just like her sister Isabella also hopes to be a straight A student and her favorite subject in school is art. She wants to be a teacher when she grows up. Her favorite color is silver and she loves riding and fashion, which makes her the perfect fit for our Belle Program!

Mia Green

Mia also comes to us from Forget Me Not Farm in Wellinton, Florida. Mia is 7 years old and competes in short stirrup with her pony GF Forget Me Not. She also has two other ponies, Unforgettable, who is ridden

by her friend Emma Kurtz in the green pony hunters and Sugarbook Adorablue, who is just a baby pony learning to jump. Mia was circuit champion at the Winter Equestrian Festival and her goal is to compete in pony finals one day. She is very proud that her pony GF Forget Me Not “Kelly” was USEF Horse of the Year in 2013. You can see Mia competing at shows like; ESP Fall Circuit, Winter Equestrian Festival, ESP Spring Circuit, Fox Lea Farm, and Kentucky Summer. Mia loves art class in school and hopes to receive straight A’s this year. She loves to watch the jumpers at the horse shows and is hoping to make some new friends by joining the Belle Program, so don’t be shy and say hi to Mia Green!

Margaret Junkin

 Maggie or MJ joins us from Jenkinton, PA and the Patty Miller Stables. Maggie shows her pony Foxlair Fantasia, “Fancy”, in the small pony hunters. You can find her competing up and down the East coast at shows like; Vermont Summer Festival, Saratoga, HITS-Saugerties, Culpepper, Ocala, Pony Finals, Devon, Harrisburg and WIHS. Maggie is an honor student in school and balances her time between school, riding and division 1Soccer.

Maggie loves traveling to away shows and riding her bike around the show grounds to meet up with friends she has made from all over the country. She gets up early and does most of the barn work herself. She is a hard worker and dreams of showing in the Grand Prix one day. Maggie is a true animal lover and has 5 dogs and 3 cats! Maggie is excited to be a part of the Belle Program and can’t wait to start giving back to charities like Danny and Ron’s Rescue for the dogs.
