Pony tail holders VS clips on bows?

Why don't you use the clips on the bows? and can you put clips on for me? I get these questions all the time. So I decided to write a little blog about it to explain. The quick answers is yes, I can put the clips on if requested.

I have 2 big reasons that I don't use the clips. 1. They break all the time! The little pieces fall apart or the little "grabbers" get bent and stop working. I want your bows to last and I do all repairs on bows for free. It is a pain for everyone when those clips break and it happens sometimes on the first wear with those clips. 2. I think they could potentially be dangerous. Those clips have some sharp edges and I would hate to see a bow flapping in the breeze and whack a little girl in the face. I really want the kids to be safe.

All of the bows I make come standard on a high quality smaller elastic band with no metal. They work best when you braid the hair and first put a rubber band on the hair first. (watch our youtube video, link on the website on how to put your bows in) They will last much longer if you do this first. They will sit better on the hair and you can place them easier.

All of this being said, I will make them with the clips if you insist, however they are considered custom because I have to make them that way in order for them to have the same finished look.

I hope this answered some questions for you all on the big questions of the clips vs elastics. Thanks for choosing Belle and Bow Equestrian. We know there are a lot of choices out there and we really apprecaite your business. I really do, do a happy dance with each and every order!
